The episodic scenes herein were created from incidents that occurred while I was principal of a junior high. The happenings are in vivid snapshots and the events take the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotions. I would hope that this story will be a learning tool for future administrators and a keepsake for current administrators who have experienced similar adventures. This record is not intended to denigrate the thousands of marvelous teachers, including my wife, who thrive in using their talents and skills to motivate and educate the children of America. It does, however, describe experiences and episodes of an extraordinary nature during my tenure as principal of this junior high school.
